Educational Programs
Our nonprofit organization is dedicated to empowering immigrant communities through comprehensive educational programs designed to address their unique needs and challenges. Our programs aim to promote academic success, enhance language skills, and provide essential support for lifelong learning. Below is an overview of our key educational initiatives:
College Preparation and Scholarships
To support young immigrants aspiring to higher education, we provide college preparation workshops that cover topics such as college application processes, financial aid, scholarship opportunities, and study skills. We also offer scholarships to help alleviate the financial burden of tuition and related expenses.
Youth Educational Enrichment Programs
We offer after-school and summer programs for immigrant youth, focusing on academic enrichment, leadership development, and cultural integration through our AT&T Connected Learning Center. These programs provide tutoring, mentorship, and extracurricular activities that encourage academic achievement and personal growth.
Civic Education and Engagement
Our civic education programs aim to inform immigrants about their rights and responsibilities as residents and, for those eligible, as citizens. We offer classes on U.S. history, government, and the naturalization process, along with voter education and registration drives to encourage active civic participation.
Digital Literacy
In today’s technology-driven world, digital literacy is essential. We offer courses that teach basic computer skills, internet navigation, and the use of digital tools and applications through our AT& Connected Learning Center. These skills are crucial for academic success, job readiness, and everyday life.
